Government of British Columbia
Describes the Accessible British Columbia Act and steps being taken toward the inclusion of the disability community in BC. It lays out obligations of public organizations to implement accessibility plans and means for feedback. A plain language summary of the Act can be found here.
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS)
NEADS
NEADS is a consumer organization with a mandate to encourage the self-empowerment of post-secondary students with disabilities. They provide resources, research, and advocacy information that can help institutions better support accessibility.

Web Accessibility
W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
This resource outlines key accessibility requirements for online content and introduces the POUR principles (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust), which help with the design of online spaces where content can be accessed by all internet users. UBC’s CfA facilitates disability-related accommodations and programming initiatives designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities and ongoing medical conditions in all aspects of university life.
